Episode 118
The Fight: Part Two

Two words: "BOO-YAH!"
Rock on! Isaku throws off his kimono with a flair and there he is, decked out in all this awesome body armor, including a ninja-style scale shirt. And Dowa is there with him, all ready for some serious damage. This month we see how hard they rock. Which is, in a word, "very".

Isaku is standing there like an iron Colossus: Face undreadable, standing almost half again as high as a normal man.
Rin is spitting some last-minute requests at Isaku and Dowa to stand down and not fight. Isaku leans over and whispers something in her ear. She blanches, the guard calls out to surround them, and then the fighting goes down.
.
Admittedly, this chapter features some tenuki, but damn, it's got some awesome fighting. Dowa is running around underneath like a ninja, stabbing left and right, and Isaku is literally swatting weapons and people away like flies. Dowa even rolls underneath Isaku when the mancatchers come down- Their fighting style is complimentary, which has got to be a first since the "Bald Trio vs Manji" episode. Tres cool.
Back to Rin for a sec, and we see that Isaku tells her that they killed 5 men, probably more.
Dowa is hopping around like an Ainu Ninja Girl, cutting into people, whacking off limbs and even a head or two.

Isaku slaps more weapons away, while Dowa seems to do most of the killing, like a mad woman.
Finally, a samurai sneaks up alongside her, screams "DIEEEeee!", and smashes her right on the head with his sword...
.
But she's wearing an iron skullcap. Just like a ninja.
"That's... That's CHEATING!!!!"
*stab*

More samurai show up, a huge crowd of them.
And this time, they're ALL wearing swords. Isaku and Dowa made mincemeat of the last crew, mostly because they were using mancatchers and sai. This group is a group of hard, cold samurai.
Daaaaamn. Great fighting scenes, the best we've seen for a while. Isaku's technique is revealed, and although Dowa is starting to look like a flakey psychopath, we get to see them team up to take down some samurai. That's coolness for you.
