Episode 119
The fight, part three!

Dowa doesn't show it, but she's kind of tired after the last fight. Isaku knows her well, though. He is pretty beat, too.
The samurai shows asks the last of the magistrate's men what
happened. "We were all killed by those two! Especially that tiny one!
That kid cut up 10 of my men!"
"I see. What about that girl over there?"
"Huh? Her? Uh, dunno. She's just ben standing all spaced-out."
"Hmmm. Well, looks like we can just get a rope and tie her up. Shouldn't
take more than that."

Rin's all pissed off that the samurai are writing her off
as totally harmless. (^.^)
"The Hell you say!"

They surround the group, getting ready to capture them. Rin doesn't want to be captured. She tries to run, but a guy grabs hold of her from behind. Isaku calmly lifts him up and throws him against a second story wall!

The samurai get ready to attack...

So Isaku grabs Rin and Dowa by the kimono and throws them like you or I would throw a softball, into the river next to them.
They come out of the river (flowing quickly away) just in time to see the guards pound him down (we don't know if they're using clubs or swords. Most likely he's being captured. Hopefully, that is. It would suck if he died so soon).
"ISAKU!!!!!"

Brand's having a grand old time.

Another doctor comes by Brand's window to taunt him, and they get in a shouting match that lasts a couple pages.
After he leaves, Brand starts down the road of madness- He's pretty much the best surgeon in the known world (in Japan anyway), and he can't figure out this puzzle. Outside, he sees Habaki suiting up.

"LORD HABAKI!!! Down here! It's me, Ayame Brand!"

Habaki ignores him and rides away.
"Where are you going? Lord Habaki! I'm the only one who can grant what you're wishing for! Only I, in this entire country, can do it! Me! Ayame Brand! You know I can do it, too! Lord Habakiiiiiiiii!!!!!!"
Uh, yeah. Coo-coo.
This was a great... hmmm... "Intermission episode". Great drawing, a lot of nice talk, but not a huge amount of action. Isaku's sacrifice was pretty cool, though, so I'll give this episode

Three out of Five Magatsus!
