...the executioner decides he's had enough, and steps in to finish the job. He was brought in to "Help with the experiments", and since things have totally gone South already, he's decided that this role includes killing the people that the doctor screws up on too much.
"Things are getting out of control here. I gotta start thinking of getting out of here for real."
Meanwhile, Rin and Dowa forge on, looking for Isaku.
