Episode 123
Go! Go! Prison! Go! Go! Sea Otters!
Rin and Dowa are looking for a way into the castle. Every entrance seems well guarded. Dowa, not being able to see, loses interest and wanders around, picking at trees and playing with bugs.

Rin: "DON'T IGNORE ME!!!"
They're becoming like a Manzai (Osaka-style comedy) team:
Dowa: "Are you having your period now?"
Rin (screaming): What???
Dowa notes that Rin's been a little different after visiting doctor Kashin Koji (the Itto-ryu doctor and spy- Though Rin doesn't know that). Rin gruffly apologizes, and has a flashback to their meeting.

They're asking the doctor if he had any ideas about the castle- Any maps, etc. Dowa's like, "Why don't we just go in fighting?" Su-I-Cide. ".Oh."
Anyway, they ask the doctor if he's heard any news: Troop placement, Isaku or Manji's location, etc. He replies back that he's just a doctor- He knows all about the Shogun's arthritis or the Commander's hemmerhoids, but nothing that specific. He does agree to help them with a map, but mentions that if they use it, and are seen, that they may guess that there's a spy about, and he may be shut out from the gossip circles.
Dowa's pissed that she can't just run in looking for Isaku. But the doctor cautions her that "Her boss" would get upset if they lose their spy knowledge on a suicide mission. Dowa reluctantly agrees.
Anyway, he finally mentions that there is a lot of commotion anyway at the castle, and more guards, because of some sort of "Immortality experiments". Rin's like: "Immortalitiy. Experiments???" Yeah, clearly Manji's there.
Back at the dongeon, the experiments continue.

"No! No! Nooo! Stop! STOOOOOP!"

Habaki and another guard discuss the numbers of people needed to be brought in, and the numbers that are dying. Brand dismisses their concerns, saying that each person killed brings them a percent closer to the answer to this immortality puzzle.
