Episode 124

part II

.

Next, we get back to Brand. He's talking to himself, explaining his scientific rationale. Oh boy, crazy talk time.

Actually, he's figured that the worm connection (at least moving them from one active person to another) has something to do with blood type. He's also been cranking up the surgery on Manji.

He's also resigned himself to crank up the amount of people he's going to experiment on.
"I'll sift the gold from the mud!"

Toraemon isn't looking too good these days. Habaki tells him a story about capital punishment: Back in China, there were hundreds of methods of capital punishment: Boil in water, bury in salt, etc. After the days of the Three Kingdoms wars, though, all capital punishment got grouped together into two types: Beheading, and cutting apart at the waist. In Europe, though, they still have several types of public execution- And since they spend a lot of time examining the results of these executions, their doctors are a lot better than in the East, who never examine the dead. Since Brand spent all that time getting around all over Europe, he's got the experience of all those doctors.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
The guards are pulling out another prisoner to be experimented on, but he's resisting ("I can't walk! No!"). In the back, a large guy (also wearing the kawauso mask) volunteers to go next. They take him instead. It's obvious that he's Isaku.

Hmmmmm... Getting closer to the end of this prison thing, hopefully? It's interesting and all, but still, we're looking for some action!

Two out of Five Magatsus!
