This month starts off with a flashback, Rin talking to Hyakurin.

j/k, this is from a conversation that Rin and Hyakurin were having. Rin was telling her their plans to rescue Manji, where he's located, etc.
She lays out her plans to sneak into the castle.

Hyakurin is in front of the castle, and provides a distraction so that Dowa and Rin can sneak past the guards and back down the hillside to the cave entrance.
Those people on the above right are at the castle to ask for the return of their family members (the ones currently being tested on).
The flashback is over and we return to the present.
Rin and company try to sneak through the cavern, but...

Another weirdo comes out boasting. It's always the weirdos that are super-strong, isn't it?
The three are strung up on the wall, and a tally is made: They killed every guard but two on their way in.

For that, the weird guy extracts punishment out on Rin. MMmmmm, Singaporrific!
They stuff a piece of bamboo in her mouth and begin the beating. They basically plan to beat her to death. The weirdo wants to see if she'll puke, vomit blood, or if her back will break- But he promises not to hit her hard enough to stop her heart yet...
Then, suddenly, they begin to hear a noise.
What- What the HELL is this noise???
The prison arc just... won't... die. Not even a good caning could save this month from...
