Abayama confronts Makoto, asks him about his connections to the government.

Makoto still looks flushed, and Abayama tells him he's not going to hurt him, and that there's no reason for him to run away.

"I wasn't running away... l lead you here. In the marketplace, I couldn't fight you in front of all the others."

Oh, friggin' BRILLIANT, Makoto.

Then again, Abayama doesn't exactly have the Midas touch with kids, and comes back to Makoto's further taunts by jiding him- They ate rice harvested by the same kama (iow "buddies") for over two months- So he knows he's a sucky fighter- and yet he's trying to face off with Abayama?

"You should never have stepped into our world"

That sufficiently pisses off Makoto, so with a resounding "Urusai!", he advances....
